PLAY WITH CLAY

A “Fun with Clay” activity was organized on 9 October,2025 for the students of Classes I to V to encourage creativity and enhance fine motor skills. The young learners enthusiastically participated and moulded clay into various shapes, animals, and everyday objects, showcasing their imagination and artistic talent. The activity provided an engaging platform for students to express their ideas through art while developing coordination and concentration.
This activity also played an important role in the holistic development of the students. It strengthened their fine motor control and improved hand-eye coordination through exploration of different textures and forms.
Working with clay encouraged creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills as children transformed their ideas into three-dimensional models. The collaborative environment promoted sharing, cooperation, and teamwork, thereby supporting their social and emotional growth. Through modelling of animals, plants, and solid shapes—students gained a better conceptual understanding of classroom topics. Overall, the activity was a joyful and enriching learning experience for our young learners.
