NEXT GEN BIOLOGY

On 20 August, 2026 ,students from classes XI & XII participated in an engaging Next-Gen Biology Activity that connected theoretical concepts with practical, real-world applications.

The activity included Blood Group Identification and Soil pH Testing, providing students with opportunities to explore biology through hands-on investigation. During blood group identification, students learned about the ABO and Rh blood group systems, antigens, antibodies and agglutination reactions. Through soil pH testing, they investigated the chemical nature of soil and understood how pH influences plant growth and nutrient availability.

The activity promoted scientific curiosity, observation, analytical thinking, teamwork and experiential learning, while giving students a glimpse into the applications of biology in healthcare, agriculture, biotechnology and environmental science.
