Topic : Mental Health Action Plan: Promoting care and Treatment
Class VI-VIII
The Model United Nations is a platform to encourage political thought and dialogue amongst the students all over the world. Jesus Mary Joseph Sr. Sec. School encourages students to participate in such events as they broaden the horizon of our students and empower them to become effective change agents and leaders of the future.
The students of class VI to VIII participated in their second MUN of this session on
13th August 2021.
A total of 15 students of represented the committee of WHO. The students experienced exhilarating sessions of debate and discussion on burning topic of Mental Health Action Plan: Promoting care and treatment. The daylong session taught the students the art of political analysis and problem solving. The students learnt how to come to a consensus and recommend a solution for the agenda at hand. Most importantly, the students learnt the finer nuances of conducting meaningful research and oratory skills.
Three students were given verbal mentions during the awards ceremony namely –

- Nirvair Nanda VIII A (Best Speaker )
- Aashima Arora VIII A (Best Coordinator)
