MUHAVARO KA KHEL

Hindi idioms or muhavare are the colourful threads that weave together the richness of the Indian language and culture. These muhavare not only add flavour to conversations but also impart valuable moral and social lessons.

To make the learning of Hindi muhavare more impressive, creative, and artistic, an activity titled “Muhavaron ka Khel” was conducted on 13th November 2025 by the Hindi Department Sirjan for the students of Classes 9 and 10. In this activity, students wrote famous muhavare on A3-size sheets and illustrated them with relevant pictures. The activity helped enhance students’ language skills, creativity, and presentation abilities.

The event was designed as an interactive competition where students explored Hindi muhavare by presenting them in beautiful calligraphy, explaining their meanings, and representing them through colourful illustrations. The aim was to transform traditional language learning into a playful experience, making the understanding of figurative language enjoyable while also developing artistic skills and promoting teamwork and creativity. The activity truly proved that idioms can be a delightful khel. The students showcased remarkable ingenuity and enthusiasm.
