Mathematics activity- Mathematical Graffiki

Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations or algorithms, it is about understanding. In order to enhance this skill, the students of class XII A and B came up with an activity.

The main objective of conducting this activity is to introduce the students with the concepts of graphs of a^x and log(a) x and to examine whether they are mirror images of each other or not.

The students used graph sheets to plot both the graph . Wires or threads were been used to highlight the curves of both the graphs.

Through this activity the students learned that the graphs of a^x and log(a) x are mirror images of each other.

All the students actively participated in this activity.
