ANTI-TOBACCO CAMPAIGN

An Anti Tobacco Awareness Campaign was successfully conducted at Jesus Mary Joseph Sr. Sec. School on 6th May 2026. The primary objective of the campaign was to sensitize students about the severe health hazards and social consequences of tobacco use in all forms.

The program commenced with a solemn pledge-taking ceremony wherein students from Classes 11 and 12 along with the teaching and non-teaching staff vowed to abstain from tobacco and motivate others to lead a tobacco-free life. As part of the campaign, students from Classes VI to XII participated in poster-making, slogan-writing, paper plate decorating and bookmark-making activities to express their views creatively. Students and teachers actively took part and showed commendable enthusiasm throughout the event.

The campaign achieved its goal of spreading awareness and fostering a strong sense of responsibility among students to build a healthy, tobacco-free society.
