Celebrating World Heritage Day: A Journey through the National Museum
On May 13, 2024 in commemoration of World Heritage Day, students of JMJ from classes XI and XII embarked on an enriching journey to the National Museum. The primary objective of our visit was to deepen our understanding of the importance of cultural heritage preservation and to gain firsthand knowledge of the diverse historical artifacts housed within the National Museum. As we traversed the museum halls, our senses were inundated with the sights, sounds, and textures of history. The grandeur of centuries-old relics left us awestruck, prompting contemplation on the passage of time and the resilience of cultural identity. The visit served as a catalyst for interdisciplinary learning, bridging the gap between classroom teachings and tangible experiences.
Finally the visit, reflected on the profound impact of our museum excursion.
