Ion- Dice Activity

“Chemistry is all about transferring electrons to form ions and Ionic compounds are fun to learn.”

 An ION dice game was conducted in class 11 of J.MJ School PaschimVihar. The activity was about writing the chemical compounds name along with their chemical formula within a stipulated time limit of 2 minutes by rolling the two dices simultaneously. The white die represented the anion while the coloured die represented the cation. They were provided with an ion key indicating each digit on the dice.

Students showed active participation in the game. There were  5 teams consisting of 2 members each .The team who wrote the maximum number of chemical compounds along with formulas won.

It was indeed a super fun learning activity. The event was conducted under the guidance of Ms. PreethiBaiju.
