Excavating the Past

Topic : Excavating the Past

On 12 July 2022, Jesus Mary Joseph  school executed an interesting activity which was titled \"excavating the past\" for the students of class XI C. It was an excavation task aimed at students understanding and experiencing how archaeologist\'s  work is done. The activity excited and instilled a lot of thought-provoking questions in them.  Since it was quite fun and practical to perform, some said they never saw this amazing side of choosing history and enjoyed the whole process. Many kids felt they would like to pursue becoming an archaeologist. The key things they learnt were what problems they face in  searching the objects and secondly understanding their subject topics  in a better way. They also  found different objects and saw them from different outlooks to understand whether they are worth some historical importance in any possible way.

The activity ended with students being tired but exhilarated with the experience.
